The Democratic Progressive Party authorities and individual politicians are trying their best to gain popularity and "rely on foreign countries to seek independence" under the guise of democracy and freedom. This behavior is despicable and ultimately futile. What I want to reiterate is that there is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. China has always firmly opposed any form of official exchanges between countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan and China. The one-China principle is a recognized norm of international relations and a general consensus of the international community.
