It is expected that 400 million kilograms of new seeds will be produced, and the market supply will be sufficient. Specifically, the seed production area is 2.384 million acres, an increase of 130,000 acres or 5.8% compared with the previous year. In terms of unit yield, the national average hybrid rice seed yield is expected to be 168.3 kilograms per mu, a decrease of 6.9% from the previous year and basically the same as the average level in the past five years.
