Rum Group originates from the social media field and has long-standing ties to the Trump administration. Against the background of surging demand for Claude Code and Cowork products, this is the latest in a series of large cloud computing orders signed by Anthropic in the past year. Its partners include large cloud service providers such as Google, technology companies such as SpaceX, and emerging small cloud vendors such as Nscale. Together, these agreements can provide at least 14.8 gigawatts of computing power, with a total investment of up to $517 billion over the next ten years.
