[New National Standard Released to Further Improve Intelligent Connected Automotive Software Security Governance System] September 14th, we learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standards Administration) recently approved the release of the national standard "Automotive Software Quality and Defect Management Specifications". In terms of quality planning, the standard requires automobile manufacturers, software providers and relevant organizations upstream and downstream of the supply chain to establish a software quality and safety management system, implement 10 key quality assurance activities such as software safety management, historical problem avoidance, and status report monitoring, adapt to multiple development models, and strengthen the management and control requirements for artificial intelligence software, embedded software, cloud software and other types of objects. In terms of key process review and software risk assessment, the standard sets review nodes for five key processes including software project planning, requirements analysis, design implementation, software integration, and verification and confirmation, allowing for combined implementation based on the actual situation of the project. It is required to establish a software risk assessment mechanism, include software problems in each link into hierarchical assessment, and promote the transformation of quality control from "post-processing" to "defect prevention".
