[Singapore Exchange is preparing to provide cryptocurrency perpetual futures to U.S. institutions] September 14th, Singapore Exchange is preparing to provide cryptocurrency perpetual futures to U.S. institutions, and is expected to become the first large traditional exchange to introduce this popular crypto market product into the mainstream. The exchange filed with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) last month to launch these contracts to U.S. investors. The move will allow Singapore Exchange to reach a wider group of hedge funds, asset managers and proprietary trading institutions since it launched Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetual futures in November last year.
