[State Administration for Market Regulation: Large enterprises that do not publish annual report information on pending payments will be included in the list of operating abnormalities] September 14th, the State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing on September 14th to introduce the work on strengthening the management of the problem of payment difficulties for small and medium-sized enterprises. Zhou Weijun, director of the Credit Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, said that the "Regulations on Guaranteeing Payments to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" requires companies to include information such as the number and amount of contracts that have not yet been paid to small and medium-sized enterprises in their annual reports, and to disclose it through the national enterprise credit information disclosure system. This system does not directly interfere with corporate payment decisions and behaviors, but transforms contract performance, which was originally known only to both parties to the transaction, into publicly available corporate credit information. The State Administration for Market Regulation will, in accordance with the law, include large enterprises that have not disclosed relevant annual report information on the list of operating abnormalities, and simultaneously push them to relevant departments to form a closed loop of work. In the next step, the State Administration for Market Regulation will continue to deepen the disclosure of annual reports of large enterprises, supervise and guide local market supervision departments to conduct detailed verification of corporate information of large enterprises, and prevent underreporting and other situations.
