[Bank of America's Subramanian raises S&P 500's year-end target to 7,400 points] September 14th, Bank of America's head of U.S. equity and quantitative strategy Savita Subramanian said in a report on Monday that the bank raised its year-end target for the S&P 500 from 7,100 to 7,400, saying that the long-term bullish logic still holds. The bank also set a 12-month target for the S&P 500 at 7,800 points. "We are entering a period of seasonal weakness and we believe the market is overdue for a correction," Subramanian wrote. The new year-end target is 3.4% below the S&P 500's Friday close.
