[Yemen’s Houthi armed forces say they intercepted two formations of Saudi fighter jets] September 15th, Yahya Saraya, spokesman for the Houthi armed forces in Yemen, said on the 14th local time that on the same day, the Houthi armed air defense forces intercepted two formations of Saudi fighter jets over Saada Province in Yemen. Yahya said that the two batches of fighter jets, namely "Typhoon" fighter jets and F-15 fighter jets, took off from the air bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif in Saudi Arabia. Yahya said that the Houthi armed forces used several homemade anti-aircraft missiles to intercept the above-mentioned fighter planes and "forced them to retreat and return." Saudi Arabia has yet to respond.
