[16.68-meter domestically produced largest diameter shield machine rolls off the production line in Zhengzhou] On September 15th, the ultra-large diameter mud-water balance shield machine "China Railway No. 1662" jointly developed by China Railway Tunnel Bureau, China Railway Fourth Bureau and China Railway Engineering Equipment Group rolled off the production line in Zhengzhou, Henan. This equipment is the largest diameter shield machine independently developed by China so far, with an excavation diameter of 16.68 meters, a total machine length of 125 meters, and a weight of approximately 4,800 tons.
