[Report: Shanghai ranks among the top three global asset management centers for the first time] September 15th, CEIBS Lujiazui Institute of International Finance released the 2026 Global Asset Management Center Evaluation Index Report on September 15th. The report shows that Shanghai rose to third place with a score of 87.05, an increase of 2.83 points and 2 places from the previous year. It entered the top three in the world for the first time and became the highest-ranked asset management center in Asia. The top two global asset management centers are New York and London. The index shows that the competition for the top global asset management centers has begun to shift from an internal competition between European and American cities to a new pattern in which New York takes the lead, London maintains its advantage as an international hub, and Shanghai accelerates its entry into the first echelon.
