[Public solicitation of opinions on the Guidelines for the Construction of the Power Battery Recycling Industry Standard System] On September 15th, the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "Guidelines for the Construction of the Power Battery Recycling Industry Standard System (2026 Edition)" (Draft for Comment) on the 15th, proposing that by 2030, more than 50 national standards will be formulated and revised, and a power battery recycling standard system covering the entire industry chain and the entire product life cycle will be basically established, and a standard system for efficient resource utilization, full industrial chain coverage, and domestic and international collaboration will be gradually formed. Power batteries are rich in strategic resources such as nickel, cobalt, and lithium. Their recycling can effectively alleviate and reduce import dependence and enhance the country's ability to supply mineral resources.
