[U.S. Secretary of the Interior: Implementing an export ban will not be able to suppress high U.S. oil prices] September 15th, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum said on the 14th that even if the United States bans oil or fuel exports, it will be difficult to change the situation of high domestic oil prices in the United States. "If we thought that imposing an export ban might bring down oil prices, we would consider (doing so), but that is not the case," Burgum told reporters when attending a Group of 20 energy conference in Houston, Texas.
