[China's first "molten salt energy storage + carbon dioxide power generation" project starts construction] September 16th, this morning, China's first "molten salt energy storage + carbon dioxide power generation" demonstration project "Rui Carbon" will officially start construction in Yantai, Shandong. This project is a carrier project of the national major science and technology project "Key Technology Development and Engineering Demonstration of Carbon Dioxide Thermal Batteries". It is expected to be completed and put into production in 2027. It is of great significance in promoting the large-scale application of new energy storage and assisting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy.
