[Oriental Space is about to conduct the second-stage test run of "Gravity 2" in the near future] On September 16th, Oriental Space successfully launched the Gravity 1 (Y3) carrier rocket this morning. The progress of the company's other liquid rocket Gravity 2 has also attracted market attention. Oriental Space Alliance Co-founder and Vice President Peng Haomin told reporters that Gravity-2 is a second-generation large-scale liquid launch vehicle built by Oriental Space for large-scale networking. It has a low-Earth orbit transport capacity of 21.5 tons and a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit transport capacity of 15 tons, which is about three times that of Gravity-1. Currently, the entire Gravity-2 rocket is carrying out various large-scale ground tests before its first flight in an orderly manner, and various development nodes are being steadily advanced. The second-stage test run of "Gravity 2" will be carried out in the near future to verify the matching of the power system and engine, the propellant filling process and other capabilities. After that, a sub-stage test run will be carried out to assess the ability of multiple engines to work in parallel, comprehensively verify the coordination and reliability of various rocket systems, and make comprehensive preparations for the first flight.
