[China has exceeded the implementation target of the Ozone Protection Agreement in the first phase] September 16th, today (September 16th) is the International Ozone Layer Protection Day. At a conference held today to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and the 2026 International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, it was learned that China has exceeded its phased compliance goals and made important contributions to promoting global environmental governance.
