[Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index closed up 0.19%, the semiconductor and optical communications sectors strengthened] On September 16th, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index closed up 0.19%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 0.79%. The semiconductor and optical communications sectors strengthened. Cambridge Technology rose by more than 10%, Shanghai Fudan rose by more than 8%, Huahong Grace rose by more than 5%, and Zhongji InnoLight rose by more than 4%. Gold stocks generally rose, with Lingbao Gold rising by more than 8%, Chifeng Gold rising by more than 7%, and Shandong Gold rising by more than 5%. The pharmaceutical sector fell, with CStone Pharmaceuticals falling more than 12% and Ascletis Pharmaceuticals falling more than 7%.
