[ANZ Bank: Aluminum production capacity in the Middle East is recovering at an accelerated pace, and the global aluminum market may turn to surplus in 2027] On November 4, ANZ Bank (ANZ) reported that the accelerated recovery of aluminum production capacity in the Middle East, China's production maintaining high levels, and Indonesia's continued expansion are helping to ease the tight supply situation in the global aluminum market. The bank expects the supply gap to narrow this year and turn into a surplus in 2027. However, supply risks in the Middle East may still keep aluminum prices above US$3,000/ton early next year.
