B[Key progress has been made in China’s first 10-million-kilowatt “Shagehuang” base supporting coal power project] On September 26, we learned from China Three Gorges Corporation that all four inter-cooling towers of the supporting coal-fired power project supporting the central and northern Kubu new energy base, China’s first batch of 10-million-kilowatt “Shagehuang” large-scale wind power and photovoltaic base, have been topped out, and the project construction is accelerating towards the goal of putting the units into operation. Currently, the wind power, photovoltaic, solar thermal, supporting energy storage, and UHV DC transmission projects of the new energy base in the central and northern part of Kubu are under simultaneous construction. After the base is fully completed, it will be able to deliver approximately 40 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei every year, assisting the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
