[Audi Innovation & Technology Center was officially established in Shanghai] On September 3, reporters learned that the Audi Innovation & Technology Center (AITC) was officially established in Shanghai today. As a new joint venture established by Audi AG and SAIC Motor, AITC is a research and development entity specially built for the AUDI brand with complete vehicle development and end-to-end capabilities. Audi and SAIC will jointly develop four new AUDI models based on the Audi ADP 2.0 Intelligent Digital Platform (Advanced Digitized Platform), an exclusive architecture designed for future intelligent connected cars. The first model is planned to be released in 2028. According to previously announced information, SAIC, Audi AG and Volkswagen China hold 49%, 41% and 10% of AITC's shares respectively.
