[SanDisk CEO: It is expected that PC sales may still decline by single digits next year, but PC storage capacity will increase] On October 30th, SanDisk Chairman and CEO David Goeckeler said in a conference call for the first fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2027 on Thursday (ET) that the current two quarters are the low period of PC market sales, and PC sales are expected to still decline by single digits next year. However, he emphasized the logic of the increase in device content: "We expect the storage capacity of PCs (in EB) to grow next year. According to our internal models, various segments of the NAND flash memory market... will show positive growth next year." At the same time, automotive electronics is rising rapidly and is regarded by SanDisk as one of the largest market segments in the future edge computing field.
