[Netflix was rejected for $500 million to package Xbox game IP] October 29th, following the superhero comic IP, games may become a new blue ocean pursued by Hollywood studios. At least Netflix, the streaming giant, has made big moves to achieve "big results." According to reports, Netflix’s former chief content officer Bela Bajaria proposed a bold plan to Microsoft’s Xbox: to obtain a seven-year exclusive film and television adaptation license for a batch of the latter’s game IP for US$500 million. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma and the business team did not accept it and raised the price to $800 million. The two sides immediately broke down.
