[CSPC Innovation: SYS6010 included in the list of breakthrough therapies] On September 1, CSPC Innovation (300765.SZ) announced that SYS6010, developed by the company's holding subsidiary Jushi Biologics, was included in the list of breakthrough therapies by the Drug Evaluation Center of the State Food and Drug Administration. The proposed indication is for patients with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma who have failed immune and platinum-containing chemotherapy. SYS6010 is an antibody-drug conjugate targeting EGFR, and key Phase III clinical trials for this indication are currently underway. Previously, SYS6010 has received two breakthrough therapy designations, respectively for EGFR mutation-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer and advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
