Mobile phone shipments increased by 110% and 50.2% in the first and second quarters respectively.
It is understood that Huawei will release new phones such as the Pura70 series and novaFlip small foldable phones this year.
Huawei said that sales of novaFlip exceeded 45,000 units within 72 hours of its launch, and PocketS sales increased by 85% year-on-year.
At the same time, after the launch of novaFlip, it also helped Huawei's share of the small foldable category exceed 70%.
As the imaging flagship, Huawei Pura70 series covers the price range of 5,499 yuan/unit to 10,999 yuan/unit.
TechInsights said,In the second quarter, the proportion of Pura and Mate series in Huawei's total shipments increased significantly year-on-year, helping to increase the average selling price of Huawei mobile phones.
Huawei's operating results for the first half of 2024 show that Huawei achieved sales revenue of 417.5 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 34.3%, and a net profit margin of 13.2%.
According to this calculation,Huawei's net profit in the first half of 2024 was 55.11 billion yuan, breaking the 50 billion yuan mark for the first time.
