Skinbid, one of the most well-known overseas skin trading platforms for Counter-Strike 2, officially declared bankruptcy and will completely cease operations. This platform with more than 400,000 users has always regarded itself as a formal trading market that is "fully compliant and compliant with EU law", but even with a large amount of investment, it has not been able to survive in the market.

Skinbid’s co-owners include well-known streamer Mark “Ohnepixel” Zimmermann and trader Zipel. Zipel said that the platform has been unable to achieve profitability during the four years of operation, and that trying to build a "legal and transparent" business model in the field of skin trading ultimately proved to be economically unsustainable.
