A Chinese team went to Texas, USA to perform a phalanx of drones and broke two world records in a row

Abstract:

Domestic audiences are probably not surprised by drone phalanx performances. Large-scale performances can be seen at every festival or important event. However, for overseas people, it is novel to watch a hearty performance at home. In September last year, the Desert Data Control team from Shenzhen went to Texas, the United States, and completed multiple large-scale drone formation light shows, setting two world records in one fell swoop. Recently, the relevant videos were recirculated on overseas social platforms and sparked heated discussions.

It is reported that this Texas tour has a total of 7 performances, and a total of 71,207 drones have been launched, setting the record for "the most drones launched in one week", surpassing the previous record of 55,939 drones.

One of the performances used 10,183 drones to transform into the image of a fire-breathing dragon in the sky, breaking the record for "the largest aerial performance of mythical creatures composed of drones". The previous record was 2,247 in the United Arab Emirates.

The dragon shape is the core attraction of this performance. Tens of thousands of drones coordinately change light and shadow to outline the dragon's body, wings, claws, scales and fire-breathing special effects in the air. It is full of unique features and caused a sensation in the local area.

As a domestic specialized and innovative enterprise, Damoda has been deeply involved in drone cluster control technology for many years, and has repeatedly broken drone performance-related records at home and abroad.

Tens of thousands of UAVs are flying stably and cooperatively, testing the entire technical system of communication, positioning, and cluster dispatching, and also confirming that domestic UAV fleet solutions have the ability to stably implement large-scale overseas events
