Abstract:
A business jet carrying 9 people crashed in a residential area in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA on the 1st, killing all on board. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy posted a message on social media confirming that the plane crashed at 12:50 local time, killing all nine people on board.
At present, there are no reports of casualties on the ground.
The FAA issued a statement stating that the Learjet 60 aircraft took off from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was destined for the Bahamas.
The crash video shows that the plane swooped down from the sky and exploded near a major highway, setting off a huge fireball with passing vehicles not far away.
