On the eve of the official release of the foldable screen mobile phone iPhone Duo, Apple is setting up a large display device outside its Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York to build momentum for the launch of the new product. According to photos posted by users on the social platform

In addition to outdoor settings, Apple will also launch large-scale retail displays in stores. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman previously revealed that Apple plans to deploy more than 150 iPhone Duo units as experience machines and display devices at the Fifth Avenue flagship store, which is much higher than in ordinary stores. According to reports, many non-flagship Apple retail stores are expected to only receive about 20 display machines.
In order to highlight the characteristics of the folding screen form, Apple has also prepared a new demonstration method. One of the display devices will cycle through the opening and closing process of iPhone Duo, allowing customers to intuitively understand the folding design of the device. In addition, Apple will also set up a special MagSafe display stand to place the unfolded iPhone Duo side by side with two traditional iPhones to facilitate consumers to compare the differences in size and use form.
It is worth noting that the theme decoration of the Fifth Avenue flagship store has undergone two major adjustments in the past month or so. During the release of the iPhone 18 Pro in September this year, Apple redecorated the glass cube and added new color elements to echo the burgundy and glacier color body versions launched at that time.
According to the plan, iPhone Duo will be officially launched on October 23. Apple has previously confirmed that the United States and some international markets will provide a limited number of on-site purchase quotas on the launch day, and reminded consumers that the first batch of inventory is expected to sell out quickly. In many markets such as mainland China, France, and Japan, customers need to reserve a pick-up time in-store through the Apple online store in advance to complete the purchase process.
