Abstract:
The "Endless Fantasy World" commemorative exhibition for the 40th anniversary of the "Final Fantasy" series has been officially confirmed and will be held from January 8 to April 4, 2027 at the Tokyo National Museum Kekeikan. The exhibition will review the development of the series since the publication of the first work in 1987.

The 40-year history of the series will be presented through the classic scenes and music of previous works, and the introduction content of "Final Fantasy 14: Eternal Ice" and "Final Fantasy 7: Revelation" will be arranged. The organizers also plan to set up interactive experience projects to allow the scenes in the game to be presented in the form of real space. The specific content will be announced in the future.

This exhibition will also for the first time combine the "Final Fantasy" series with the cultural properties collected by the Tokyo National Museum. These include ""Fifty-three Tokaido (Nihonbashi)" × "Final Fantasy 14" Golden Port" and other collaborative works, showing the corresponding design of traditional collections and the game world.
All exhibition tickets are based on a designated date system. Early bird ticket prices are 3,200 yen for adults, 2,400 yen for students, and 1,100 yen for children, all including tax. The limited-number "+9999 (level upper limit) peripheral ticket package" comes with a set of framed badges with the logos of past works. The ticket prices for adults, students and children are 13,199 yen, 12,399 yen and 11,099 yen respectively.

All ticket buyers will also receive a venue-limited promotional card, and one of the two designs will be randomly provided at each distribution stage. The first phase is from January 8 to February 5, 2027. The card faces are designed with "Peacock Meiou Statue × "Final Fantasy 16" Joshua Rhodesfield" and ""Fifty-three Tokaido (Nihonbashi)" × "Final Fantasy 14" Golden Port" respectively. The styles of the second and third stages will be announced at a later date.
The first phase of early bird designated date tickets have been prioritized for sale through the Square Enix app, and pre-sale ends at 23:59 on September 23. General sales will begin at 9:30 on September 24, and early bird ticket arrangements for the second and third phases have yet to be announced.
