Summary:
"GTA6" is coming soon. At least for console players. Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated open-world crime game is officially scheduled to be released on November 19, 2026, on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms, but PC players will have to wait patiently for a while to experience the game.
"GTA6" PC version release date speculation
Foreign media GameSpot predicts that the PC version of "GTA6" will be released in the first quarter of 2028, which means that the PC version will be launched approximately 15-18 months after the console version is released. This prediction is not based on any leaked information or insider claims, but refers to Rockstar's past record of late PC releases.
It is worth mentioning that the PC version of "Give Him Love 5" was released 19 months after the console version was released, and there was also a 12-month gap between the console and PC versions of "Red Dead Redemption 2".
GameSpot said they are more confident in this prediction because Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has revealed that the online mode of "GTA6" will be launched sometime in 2027.
Clancy speculated that Twitch’s viewership will surge “when multiplayer is launched” in 2027. This may mean that Rockstar plans to perfect and launch the multiplayer experience of "GTA6" before the PC version is released.
