Hanlu sues Autohome for illegally selling "Hanlu Travel Notes" and cooperating with millions involved

📅 2026-10-20

Abstract:

On October 20, car blogger and former Autohome editor-in-chief Han Lu publicly accused Autohome through a Weibo video,

claiming that two and a half years ago, he sold content cooperation worth millions of yuan to car companies in the name of "Hanlu Travels" without Han Lu's personal consent, and did not inform Han Lu of the entire process

.

According to Han Lu's narration in the video, a car company has reached a cooperation with Autohome and hopes to produce a heavy travel program similar to the style of "Han Lu Travels". After Autohome signed a contract with the car company, it outsourced the execution work to an execution company, but it never contacted Han Lu himself. The execution company then contacted Han Lu on the grounds of cooperating with a small interview, and the Han Lu team charged a fee of 100,000 yuan after discovering that the filming request involved commercial content. Afterwards, the execution company asked Han Lu to post the video on his personal social account, but Han Lu refused. Han Lu said that when Autohome promised to car companies, it also packaged the release resources of his personal account, but he himself was not aware of this.

Han Lu said that the final film was a "put together" travelogue without his actual participation, and that he only recorded a message at the beginning. He said that the incident occurred two and a half years ago, and the relevant situation was confirmed after recently piecing together all the information from all parties. He also pointed out that Autohome took advantage of the information gap between the car company's internal public relations department and advertising department. Hanlu stated in the video that he did not require Autohome to repay the millions of yuan in losses, but he hoped to let the public know about the matter.

As of press time, Autohome has not yet made a public response to Han Lu’s statement.
