According to the whistleblower "Fixing Focus Digital", Apple iPhone 18 Pro has entered the full mass production stage, and its color scheme may be different from previous rumors. It is expected to include dark cherry, sky blue and black, and the silver version will most likely not be launched.
The whistleblower stated on Weibo that there is no sign of the existence of silver models in China yet. If the news is true, Apple will completely change the color scheme of the iPhone 18 Pro and will not continue the three colors of the iPhone 17 Pro. This also means that the previously rumored silver will not be an option for the new phone.
Previously, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman described the new main color of iPhone 18 Pro as "dark red"; Macworld later called it "dark cherry" and predicted other colors to be light blue, dark gray and silver. Another Weibo whistleblower "Instant Digital" once said that Apple may abandon black, and described the dark cherry color as a mixture of burgundy, coffee and dark purple.
The currently leaked photos of the model machine and SIM card tray show that dark cherry color has basically become the key color, but there are still different opinions on whether light blue, sky blue, black, dark gray and silver will be finally selected. Dark cherry color is expected to replace the cosmic orange on the iPhone 17 Pro and become the iconic color of the iPhone 18 Pro series.
The return of black is also undetermined. Previously, it was reported that Apple considered launching black and steel gray for the iPhone 17 Pro, but ultimately abandoned these two options.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its autumn launch next week, as well as its first foldable screen iPhone, which is rumored to be named "iPhone Ultra."
