Abstract:
Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and rumored Galaxy S27 Pro batteries recently appeared in South Korea’s Safety Korea certification database, and the relevant pages disclosed battery photos and models. The battery models are EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY respectively, which correspond to the previously reported S27 Ultra and S27 Pro mobile phone models SM-S958 and SM-S957. The suppliers are Guanyu Battery in Zhuhai, China.

The capacity information on the certification photo is not legible, so the battery capacity is not confirmed in this record itself. Previously, China 3C certification data reportedly showed that the rated battery capacity of the S27 Ultra is 5534 mAh and that of the S27 Pro is 5087 mAh. Based on this, the media speculated that Samsung may mark the batteries as 5700 mAh and 5200 mAh respectively. Both models were also previously reported to support up to 60W wired charging through 3C certification, but Samsung has yet to officially announce these specifications.
If the above typical capacity speculation is true, the S27 Ultra will increase by 700 mAh, about 14%, compared to the S26 Ultra's 5000 mAh; the S27 Pro will increase by 200 mAh, about 4%. Samsung's previous Ultra models have long used 5,000 mAh batteries. It was previously reported that Samsung had tested a 7,000 mAh prototype, but it may eventually adopt a smaller capacity solution to retain the S Pen.
The release time of the Galaxy S27 series has not yet been determined. Recent news said that Samsung may return to the release rhythm of January to February in previous years; the current model name, battery capacity and charging specifications have not been officially confirmed by Samsung.
