Abstract:
Following the leakage of CAD renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra, the design of the standard Galaxy S27 has also been exposed recently. Compared with the higher-positioned Ultra model, the Galaxy S27 is not expected to adopt a new "camera island" solution in the design of the rear camera module, and will continue a more conservative product route overall.




Judging from the leaked renderings, the Galaxy S27 is very similar to the current Galaxy S26. The new phone is expected to still be equipped with an oval rear camera bump in the upper left corner of the back, and the overall layout will not change significantly. The body measurements are said to be 149.75×71.88×7.25 mm. Compared with the previous generation, the three dimensions of length, width and thickness have slightly increased. However, the change is only a subtle change below a millimeter, which is expected to be difficult to detect when actually holding it in daily life.
In terms of screen, the Galaxy S27 is expected to continue to use a 6.3-inch display, consistent with the Galaxy S26. In order to differentiate itself from the previous generation in terms of appearance, Samsung may provide new color options for the new phone; otherwise, the two generations of products may not be easy to distinguish at a glance based on the body design alone.
In terms of core configuration, it is still unclear whether the Galaxy S27 will be equipped with Samsung's Exynos 2700 platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, or will continue to adopt a dual-platform strategy based on different markets. In the imaging department, there is news that the machine may use a new main camera sensor made by Sony.
Battery life upgrade may become one of the more concerning improvements of Galaxy S27. Rumors show that Samsung is expected to equip the phone with a silicon-carbon anode battery with a capacity of 4900mAh; if the news is true, it will bring a significant improvement compared to the 4300mAh battery of the Galaxy S26. The above information is still in the breaking stage, and the final specifications are still subject to Samsung’s official release.
