Abstract:
According to the latest information released by whistleblower Evan Blass, Apple’s first foldable screen iPhone—tentatively called “iPhone Ultra”—may be available in red body color again. Its public renderings show three versions of white, black and red, with the red model marked as the "exclusive red version".

If this news is true, red will become the reappearance color of the iPhone product line after many years. The last time Apple launched a red iPhone was in 2022, when both the iPhone 14 and the third-generation iPhone SE joined the (PRODUCT) RED charity cooperation program.
However, the credibility of this batch of pictures is still questioned. The relevant images are not Apple’s official renderings, and there are obvious doubts about the system interface in the picture: for example, the design of the battery icon neither meets the outside world’s expectations for iOS 27, nor is it consistent with the existing iOS 26 style. In comparison, the battery icon lines of iOS 26 are slimmer, and the visual elements of the control center drop-down prompt are also different.
Therefore, the industry believes that these pictures may be just concept drawings based on rumors, and the possibility of being generated by AI is not even ruled out. In the absence of more reliable sources, claims about the red iPhone Ultra should still be viewed with caution.

In fact, there have been reports that Apple has not yet finalized the color scheme of the folding screen iPhone; other rumors pointed out that the machine may only be available in white. Whether it ends up with a single color or multiple options, as Apple's first foldable screen iPhone, iPhone Ultra is expected to receive high market attention.
According to current news, Apple is expected to hold a "Surprise and shine" event at 10 a.m. (Pacific time) on September 9, when the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra may be officially released.
