Abstract:

Recently, pictures and videos suspected to be of the internal circuit board of Apple’s first foldable iPhone have begun to spread on the X platform and Chinese social media, attracting outside attention to this product. X platform user LusiRoy7 posted a short video and multiple images, including a composite image with parts information annotated.

It is said that the picture shows the mainboard structure of Apple's folding screen iPhone, and the processor, hinge connector, flexible cable connector and other components can be identified.

At the same time, a schematic diagram from the repair parts supplier MIJING also appeared on Baidu Tieba. The components shown in the picture are similar to the above-mentioned exposure. The picture uses the component numbering method commonly used in China's maintenance industry, showing that multiple sets of circulated pictures may point to the same batch of parts.

At present, the authenticity of these pictures and videos cannot be confirmed. However, the concentrated appearance of relevant information may mean that the release time of Apple’s first folding screen iPhone is approaching. Apple is widely expected to release the new product alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series next month.

According to existing rumors, this folding screen iPhone is expected to be equipped with a 5.5-inch external screen and a 7.8-inch internal screen, equipped with an A20 Pro chip, and a built-in battery of about 5000mAh. In terms of imaging, the new phone may use a 48-megapixel rear dual-camera solution, with both the outer and inner screens equipped with 18-megapixel selfie cameras.

In terms of price, the starting price of Apple’s first foldable screen iPhone is expected to be no less than US$2,000.
