The third-party car complaint platform Cheqi.com shows that Changan Ford Escort has received collective complaints from car owners in the past seven days.
The reason for the complaints is generally "rusty door side skirts", and the models involved are mostly older models such as 2015-2017 models.
According to a complaining car owner, friends of the same car model learned that the corrosion in this area is "inside-out" corrosion. A large number of car owners have reported this problem. Because the internal anti-corrosion treatment of the body cavity was not in place when it left the factory, the cavity wax was not injected and the drainage design was defective. This is a batch of original factory process quality problems, which is a manufacturing defect, a typical common problem, and a safety hazard.
My request is that the Ford manufacturer conduct professional inspections and repairs on my vehicle, with all costs borne by the manufacturer. The manufacturer is required to face up to this problem.
