Abstract:
Tesla will hold an event in Austin, Texas, on Thursday local time to officially launch Cybercab. This is the company's first model without a steering wheel and pedals, and will be delivered to some limited users for the first time. The venue of this conference is likely to be located at the Texas Gigafactory, but there are still few public details. However, whether this car can really take off depends on whether it can leave the factory and actually run on public roads.

According to TESLARATI, Cybercab will most likely be on the road in Austin and its surrounding areas, using the geo-fenced operation area that Tesla has continued to expand over the past 14 months. Not long ago, Tesla once again expanded the scope of this operation by 9%.
This event is not a new car unveiling. Tesla had already demonstrated Cybercab as early as October 10, 2024.
There is a small amount of speculation in the market that Tesla may unexpectedly release the Roadster sports car at the event, but it is generally believed that the core of the conference will still focus on Cybercab and the major achievement represented by the launch of this human-free vehicle.
