AMD's latest Radeon RX7600XT attempts to enter the mid-range graphics card market and claims to have good 1080p and 1440p gaming performance. However, other than the increased memory capacity, this graphics card doesn't offer much to get excited about at $330.

Although the Radeon RX7600XT's gaming performance is good, the price/performance ratio is less compelling considering its relatively high price. In the $300 price range, the GeForce RTX 4060 offers similar performance and exclusive NVIDIA features, including DLSS3.

In addition, Radeon RX7600XT also faces fierce competition from AMD's own previous generation flagship RX6700XT. The RX6700XT offers better performance at the same price, which makes the launch of the RX7600XT a bit embarrassing.

Radeon RX7600XT16GB is basically an overclocked version of RX7600 with additional video memory. The rest of the specs are almost identical, which explains the performance levels of this graphics card.

According to HardwareUnboxed’s benchmarks,RadeonRX7600XT is barely 6% faster than the cheaper GeForceRTX4060, and the advantage is not obvious. What’s even more puzzling is that the average performance of AMD’s previous generation flagship RX6700XT, sold at the same price, is 15% higher at 1080p resolution.

The RX6700XT is still currently available on platforms like Newegg for the same price, and while it only has 12GB of VRAM, that's more than enough for 1080p or even 1440p gaming in most cases.

Although 16GB of GDDR6 video memory is a good plus for the Radeon RX7600XT, at this price point, it would be wiser to choose a more powerful 12GB video memory GPU.
