The features that Microsoft highlighted at the Surface and AI launch event yesterday will be available to Windows 1122H2 users, but now these features have begun to be rolled out to Windows 1122H2 users in the ReleasePreviewChannel.

In addition to Copilot for Windows, this Release Preview Channel version (22621.2361 (KB5030310)) also includes a modernized file explorer, as well as "a new text authoring experience, speech access and new natural voices in Narrator, and Windows Backup," among other improvements.

A more complete list of new features and changes will be released next Tuesday (26th).

To get these new features, you may need to pass a few levels: First, make sure to turn on "Get the latest updates as soon as they become available" in "Settings" > "Windows Update". When you update to the latest Windows 1122H2 Release Preview version, you will get the Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509). If you happen to have the "Latest Updates" toggle turned off when installing this build, you can still turn it on after installation and "the Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509) will download to your PC and ask you to restart."

If you don't turn off the toggle, new features will roll out to your device over time.
