You may remember that a few months ago, the "open source Windows" project ReactOS planned to improve its graphical user interface setup/installation. As shared in the latest ReactOS blog, the project is indeed making progress, further enhancing the GUI installer to replace text mode installation.
Over the past few months, ReactOS has made progress in setting up a graphical user interface mode as an alternative to the usual text mode "USETUP".
ReactOS developer Hbelusca has been working hard to improve the workflow of the graphics-based operating system installer. The partition handling code now works well in the GUI.
We will further introduce other improvements in the graphical user interface installation mode of this open source project in the future, and strive to achieve API/ABI compatibility with Windows drivers and software.
See the blog post on ReactOS.org for details.
