Recently, Elon Musk posted on "X" that "in a few months I will cancel my phone number and only use 'X' to send and receive messages, and make and receive audio and video calls." Elon Musk's approach can be seen from past operations. Since acquiring Twitter in October 2022, Musk has repeatedly stated that he wants to create version 2.0 of Twitter, which is a "universal application" that includes functions such as encrypted private messages, long tweets, and payments.

Last May, Musk tweeted: "Coming soon, voice and video chat will allow you to chat with anyone on the platform through your account, so you can chat with anyone anywhere in the world without giving them your phone number."

Not only that, Company X also obtained its first trading license in New Hampshire in June last year, and subsequently obtained approvals from Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Maryland and Michigan. As of January this year, 15 states in the United States have approved X to provide payment functions to users. Musk expects X to be approved by all U.S. states by the middle of this year.
