Samsung launched Galaxy AI features in the Galaxy S24 series last month, and today the brand announced that some of these features will be implemented in TWS headsets. Samsung has released an OTA in India, bringing the real-time translation and interpretation capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds FE.
The Korean brand also said that these two features are native on the device of Galaxy Buds and therefore do not require an active internet connection to be used.
The real-time translation feature allows users to see real-time call translation on the screen of the Galaxy S24 series when calling via Galaxy Buds, while the interpreting feature "provides seamless two-way face-to-face interpretation through the Galaxy Buds interface."
Samsung said in a press note: "Users can speak directly into the Buds microphone, and their translated voices can now enable a near-natural conversation between two people holding a Galaxy S24 series smartphone and Galaxy Buds respectively, without having to hand over their phones and manage translations."
These Galaxy AI features are currently being rolled out in India via OTA and will arrive in other markets soon.
