Microsoft today launched a new version, Windows 11 Canary Build 26063.1000, to Canary Channel users to test WiFi 7 support. It should be reminded that Microsoft will not launch a new development version this week. If you want to stay in the development channel, please do not upgrade this version to avoid the magic window closing.

In addition, the development driver for developers still has data rollback problems. Developers who use the development driver should stop upgrading to new versions.

Initial support for WiFi7:

When the WiFi Alliance announced the launch of WiFi 7, Microsoft said it would provide support. However, it took such a long time for the preview version to provide preliminary support.

On hardware that supports WiFi7, after updating to this version, users can view the WiFi connection protocol and display WiFi7 in the connection details after connecting to WiFi.

Microsoft said the new wireless network protocol can significantly improve transmission speed and throughput, including improving the quality of video streaming and remote video conferencing.

However, the actual performance varies between different devices and manufacturers. In addition, you can only use WiFi7 connection if the router and computer support the new protocol at the same time.

Other feature improvements or adjustments:

Copilot for Windows has now added more system command support, and you can also use PowerAutomateDesktop to automate tasks.

Starting from Build 26052, Microsoft has modified the Copilot icon, appearance and animation. There are errors in the relevant modifications and they have been disabled and cannot be seen for the time being.

The widget improvements added from Build 26058 are currently disabled due to problems, and Microsoft said it will be re-launched after these problems are fixed.

Other bug fix logs:

1. The network indicator is not connected to the Internet. This problem shows that it is not connected to the Internet after connecting to the virtual private network. This also causes some software to be unable to connect normally.

2. Solve the problem that the latest installed preview version is not displayed in the system update. Under normal circumstances, the installed preview version will also be displayed normally in the historical update record.

3. Solve the recent problems of the desktop window manager (dwm.exe). These problems will cause the manager to crash frequently and seriously affect the normal use of users.

4. Solve some problems with plug-and-play devices. This problem will cause playback problems on some audio devices. If you still encounter problems, you can submit feedback.

5. This update has fixed that if you enter keywords too quickly in the search box of the Settings application, the results may not be displayed even if the keywords are correct.

6. This update has fixed multiple monitor experience issues. For example, opening a minimized window may cause the window to appear on the wrong monitor.

7. This update has fixed the problem of the taskbar time module stopping updating and the problem that the set location request notification will be automatically reset after restarting.
