Last March,Mr. Li bought a Lawrence commercial car at Zhongma RV in Gongshu District, Hangzhou for a total of 1,416,600 yuan. Lawrence is a modified brand of Mercedes-Benz.But after he bought the vehicle, he didn't have to worry about it. Problems, big and small, appeared many times a year. At first, the front car's radar kept alarming. After replacing the radar, the seat problem appeared again.
A more serious problem is that the vehicle will cut off oil and stall while driving. When I went back to prepare to use the car at the beginning of the year, I found that the engine fault light came on again.
After inspection by the Mercedes-Benz 4S store, it was found that the second, third and fourth cylinders of the vehicle were missing cylinders. After replacing the spark plugs, the vehicle had no stalling fault code, but the stalling condition actually existed, and the problem cannot be repaired at present.
Mr. Li then negotiated with the seller. The other party said that he would either repair it or sell it to him as a second-hand car, with a second-hand price of less than 600,000.
Naturally, Mr. Li did not agree. After all, a car worth 1,416,600 yuan would have to pay 70,000 to 800,000 yuan in less than a year, which was unacceptable to anyone. Moreover, it was not him who sold the car, but the quality of the car.
Mr. Li felt that the car had great safety risks and did not dare to drive it anymore. He asked to return the car; however, the other party claimed that the car could not be returned.
When selling it to a car dealer, Mr. Li's ideal price is about 1 million to 1.1 million, but the seller said that the market for this car is there. As long as you can estimate the price, they are willing to pay tens of thousands of yuan higher than the market price to recycle it.
At present, the matter has not been successfully negotiated, and Mr. Li has requested the local regulatory authorities to intervene.
