According to the abstract, the patented method includes:

1. While the user's vehicle is driving, the vehicle navigation system reports the location information of the vehicle and the name of the song being played by the vehicle multimedia to the central server;

2. The central server stores the above information in the database and updates it regularly;

3. The user’s vehicle initiates a request for query instructions to the central server;

4. After receiving the instruction, the central server returns the list of songs being played by the in-vehicle multimedia of nearby vehicles to the vehicle terminal entertainment multimedia module based on the location information of the user's vehicle and the preset distance range as conditions;

5. The vehicle terminal entertainment multimedia module organizes the list of song name information that is being played by the on-board multimedia of nearby vehicles returned by the central server and displays it for the user to select.
