Loongson 2P0500 is a main control SoC chip suitable for single/multi-function printers. It is the core control component of the printing/scanning machine.
It is mainly used for printing data reception, analysis and processing, print engine control, scanning timing control, scanning data, image processing, motor control, etc.
The chip adopts a heterogeneous core structure, including one Loongson LA364 core and two Loongson LA132 cores. The three cores share 512KB L2 cache. It also integrates DDR3 memory, G It has various functional modules such as MAC, OTG, USB, printing interface, scanning interface, image unit, PMIO, AD/DA, eMMC, SDIO, SPI, PWM, etc., and also implements a power consumption management control module. A single chip can meet the needs of various typical applications such as printing, scanning, and copying. The test results of
showed that the functions of Loongson 2P0500 performed normally, the performance was in line with expectations, and the power consumption and reliability met the requirements.
At the same time, Loongson Zhongke actively cooperates with many domestic mainstream printer manufacturers to complete various application adaptations such as printing, scanning, and copying.
Some prototypes are undergoing complete machine testing by relevant manufacturers, and small batch trial production is planned in the near future.
The productization work of Loongson 2P0500 will be completed before the end of 2023. Loongson will continue to deepen its efforts in the field of printer chips and continue to improve its cost performance and market competitiveness through serialization, matching and other measures.
