The overheating problem of iPhone 15 has not yet subsided, and another problem has begun to go viral on social media platforms. Multiple users have reported that the NFC chip stopped working on their new iPhone 15 after using the wireless charging pad on a BMW car. According to reports, an "Unable to set up ApplePay" error message appeared in the wallet app of the affected device. The specific reason has not been determined. The NFC (near field communication) chip on the iPhone provides support for various functions such as ApplePay and digital car keys.

MacRumors pointed out that most of the complaints related to this issue came from iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max users. But the standard version of iPhone 15 and 15 Plus may also have this problem. It's unclear which BMW models are affected by the issue.

Some users have successfully obtained replacement services, but the problem may reoccur on the replaced device. According to user reports, affected devices will enter recovery mode at different times and may lock users' AppleCash, AppleCard, digital keys and other services.

"I received my replacement phone. The same thing happened again, the phone kept randomly going into recovery mode, which lasted over 90 minutes each time. I sent the 15Pro back today and got my 14Pro back, and it has no issues despite using the same wireless charger, car, and similar case," one user wrote.

Apple launched the iPhone 15 series last month, and since then, the devices have been in the news for a variety of reasons. There are reports that the titanium alloy frame of the iPhone 15 Pro is discolored and subsequently overheated. Apple will solve this problem in an upcoming software update.
