NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang is expected to visit Taiwan, where he will reportedly attend Foxconn's annual "Tech Day" event and expand cooperation with the company. NVIDIA and Foxconn have a long-standing relationship; however, the two companies have recently accelerated joint development, especially in the wake of the generative AI boom. Foxconn has a sizeable share of Nvidia's server orders, and the company also specializes in producing "chip substrates," which is why there are reports of the company getting huge orders from TeamGreen itself.

Foxconn’s goal is to dominate Nvidia’s orders and become its “largest supplier”, replacing Wistron and other companies. Huang's visit will mark the beginning of a rather wide-ranging collaboration, as industry sources say NVIDIA is planning to increase its "order volume" with Foxconn to gain "exclusive" status.
Foxconn’s “Industrial Internet” division will be responsible for producing NVIDIA’s AI orders, mainly DGX and HGX chip substrates. It is said that Foxconn has obtained up to 50% of NVIDIA's AI chip substrate orders, and is working hard to provide a "one-stop solution" for NVIDIA's AI chip modules, substrates, motherboards, servers or cabinets.
NVIDIA has always had deep-rooted relationships with Taiwanese suppliers, and Foxconn is clearly the next to enter the "full circle," along with TSMC and Wistron. The addition of Foxconn will help Nvidia realize its ambitions in artificial intelligence and bring huge profits to the company, because it is known that artificial intelligence chip modules are a "high-margin" department in the supply chain.
Foxconn has already seen the promise of an "AI boom," reporting revenue of up to NT$1.1 trillion for its server division, with AI-driven sales accounting for a sizeable share.
Foxconn Technology Day is scheduled to be held on October 18. Huang was also expected to deliver a special keynote address at the Artificial Intelligence Summit in Tel Aviv, Israel, on October 16, but those plans have been canceled in light of Israel's massive attacks by Hamas.
