A number of new products from Microsoft have appeared on the FCC's certified device list, confirming that the next generation Surface Laptop Go3 or Surface Go4 is about to be released. Microsoft has received FCC certification for a "portable computing device," which appears to be the long-awaited Surface Laptop Go 3 or Surface Go 4. This unknown Surface product passed FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification on September 5.

FCC listing does not reveal any information about the device. In the FCC filing, Microsoft's new product is labeled "Microsoft Corporation Portable Computing Device" (Microsoft Corporation Portable Computing Device), with codes including C3K-2067, C3K2067, C3K2067 and C3K2O60.
Microsoft has used the "C3K" certification brand for many Surface products, but most of them are related to the Surface Go and Surface Laptop series products. While the current FCC listing does not provide specific information about this Surface product, benchmarks and leaks suggest that the next-generation Surface upgrade will not change the design of the product series.
Surface Laptop Go3 is expected to be powered by the 12th generation Intel Core i5 processor, and the entry-level model now comes with 8GB of memory. On the other hand, Surface Go 4 will use Intel N200 processor, and there will be no difference in design from the original model. In addition to "portable computing devices," Microsoft also approved the Intel Wi-Fi 6 module AX201.
Microsoft’s next-generation Surface Laptop Go3 or Surface Go4 appears to use Intel’s Wi-Fi 6AX201D2W. It is reported that this module supports the 802.11ax Wi-Fi6 standard and the latest iteration of Bluetooth 5.
In addition to SurfaceLaptopGo3 and SurfaceGo4, Microsoft is also preparing to launch SurfaceLaptopStudio2. According to the recent Surface Laptop Studio 2 benchmark on Geekbench, Microsoft may be excluding AMD hardware as no reference to AMD SKU appears in the benchmark analysis or internal documentation.
Microsoft’s testing shows that the device is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i7-11370H with 64GB of memory. It is speculated that there is also a model that will integrate Intel's 13th generation Core i713800H and be paired with GeForce RTX4060. This model may come with 64GB of RAM and 2TB SSD storage capacity.
Microsoft may also launch a version integrating the 13th generation Core i7-13700H, specifically for entry-level products.
