According to the latest TOP10 global best-selling mobile phone rankings for the third quarter of 2024 released by market research companies Counterpoint and Canalys, we can get a glimpse of the best-selling models in the current global smartphone market.In Counterpoint's list, Apple's iPhone15 series performed strongly, with iPhone15, iPhone15ProMax and iPhone15Pro occupying the top three positions respectively.
Since the iPhone 16 series was only launched in late September, it was not included in this list.
In the Android camp, Samsung A154G and A155G have become the best-selling Android phones, both entering the top five, and Xiaomi’s Redmi13C also entered the list.
Samsung S24 became the most popular Android flagship model in the quarter, while S24 Ultra dropped out of the list for the first time.
In Canalys's list, the global sales champion is also Apple's iPhone 15. However, there are three models in the iPhone 16 series on the list, including iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16, among which iPhone 16 Pro broke into the top three.
The highest-selling Android phone is Samsung A154G, ranking second. In addition, all Samsung models on the list are mid-range series, including A154G, A155G and A555G, and no flagship models are included.
